About Gary Christopher

Gary Christopher Angiuli is the founder and managing partner of Angiuli & Gentile LLP, a law firm based in Staten Island, New York. He has been practicing law for over 40 years, specializing in business law, real estate law, and social security disability. Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1984, he has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1988. Mr. Angiuli earned his Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in 1983 and his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1980.

He has been recognized as a New York Metro Super Lawyer for three consecutive years, a designation awarded to only five percent of attorneys nationwide. At Angiuli & Gentile LLP, Mr. Angiuli serves as the Supervising Partner of the firm's Business, Franchise, and Real Estate Practice groups. He has experience advising entrepreneurs on the purchase and sale of franchises, automobile dealerships, and small to mid-sized businesses. His expertise includes business formations, acquisitions, negotiations, contract drafting, real estate transactions, and commercial leasing. He is proficient in reviewing, writing, and registering Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and has advised franchisors operating up to 250 franchise units.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Angiuli has been actively involved in various professional and community organizations. He is a member of the Richmond County Bar Association, having served on both the Judiciary Committee and the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association. Locally, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, where he received the Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award, and on the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation.

He received the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Award. Mr. Angiuli has contributed pro bono services to organizations such as the Luzerne Music Center, the St. George Theatre, The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, The Staten Island YMCA, Meals on Wheels of Staten Island, and The College of Staten Island Foundation, where he served as Vice President. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal in 2025 as a Lawyer of Distinction and has been a guest on the Cats & Cosby Show on 77 WABC Radio.
