About Gabriel

Gabriel Gelman holds degrees from two Colorado universities. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 2010.

After law school he entered the practice of law. His career has been built on steady involvement in client matters and legal proceedings. He has worked on a variety of files that required written advocacy, negotiation and court appearances. Over time he has taken on increasingly complex matters and handled tasks that ranged from research and drafting to direct client counseling.

Gelman’s academic background in political science informs his approach to legal problems. He tends to frame issues in a broader policy and institutional context. That perspective often guides how he prepares arguments and evaluates possible outcomes for clients. He is comfortable moving between close textual analysis and more strategic planning when a case demands both.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and concise when presenting arguments. He favors clear organization in filings and meetings. That preference shows in the materials he produces and in how he structures client conversations. He also places value on explaining options plainly so clients can make informed choices about next steps.

Outside of casework he has remained connected to the professional community. He maintains current professional membership and engages in continuing legal education to keep current with developments in the law. His practice has evolved over the years as new legal trends emerged and as client needs changed.

He currently handles a range of matters for private clients and organizations, balancing written advocacy, negotiation and client counseling in his everyday work.
