About Frank Scott
Frank Scott Moore is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California in 1992. He holds and maintains an active license status. Mr. Moore is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Frank S. Moore, A Professional Corporation, with offices located at 235 Montgomery Street, Suite 440, San Francisco, CA 94104, and a satellite office at 245 Clear Ridge Drive, Healdsburg, CA 95448. He has been practicing law for over 33 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Sonoma County.
Mr. Moore earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1991. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, graduating in 1984. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management from Golden Gate University in 1986. During his time at the University of San Francisco, he was recognized as an appellate law specialist by the State Bar of California and served on the Appellate Law Advisory Commission to the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Moore's practice areas encompass business litigation, appeals and writs, federal and white-collar criminal defense, wrongful death, personal injury, civil rights, disability rights, elder abuse, and employment law. He represents clients at all stages of litigation, including trial and appellate proceedings, and has experience in both state and federal courts. His appellate advocacy extends to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and he is an accredited attorney before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has handled cases in the California Superior Courts, California Courts of Appeal, California Federal District Courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also represented clients in administrative matters before the California Labor Commissioner, the Social Security Administration, and California’s State Personnel Board. Prior to establishing his own firm, he worked with Prentice & Scott and the Law Offices of William L. Osterhoudt.
Mr. Moore is an active member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Sonoma County Bar Association. He has been recognized as an AV Preeminent Peer Rated attorney, reflecting very high ethical standards, and has received Client Champion awards for excellent client service. He is fluent in English and Spanish, enabling him to effectively serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area and Sonoma County.
