About Farid

Farid Yaghoubtil trained at ALU before beginning his legal career in Los Angeles. His education laid a foundation in law and practical problem solving. He moved into practice intent on bringing clear analysis to client matters and learning how litigation and transactional work play out in courtrooms and conference rooms alike.

Early in his career he worked alongside a variety of practitioners and gained experience handling routine filings, client counseling and courtroom preparation. Those years gave him steady exposure to the day-to-day demands of legal work. He developed an approach that favors careful preparation, attention to detail and direct communication with clients about realistic outcomes.

Over time he became part of Downtown L.A. Law Group. At the firm he has handled matters for both individual and business clients. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the way he evaluates risks and opportunities. He does not rely on broad promises. He lays out options, timelines and likely steps so clients can make informed choices.

His courtroom experience includes routine appearances and hearings typical for a downtown practice. He is comfortable managing pretrial motions, discovery issues and settlement negotiations when they arise. In non-litigation settings he has assisted clients with contract review and negotiation, and with preparation for corporate or personal transactions. He keeps files organized and deadlines visible. That organizational emphasis feeds a steady pace in a busy office.

Outside the office he spends time following developments in state and local court rules. He attends seminars and local bar events to stay current on procedural changes that affect daily practice. He reads new opinions and digest summaries to see how recent rulings might influence cases he handles. That practice helps him refine strategies and anticipate procedural issues before they become problems.

He practices at Downtown L.A. Law Group, working from the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office and serving clients across a range of matters handled by the firm. His current practice concentrates on representing individuals and businesses through litigation, transactional work and related proceedings handled by the firm.
