About F. Albert

F. Albert Ibrahim came to law through an uncommon route. He earned a B.A. in psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1980 and went on to receive his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1984. That combination of social science and legal training has shaped how he evaluates cases and talks with clients.

After law school he entered private practice. He is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions have shaped a career that spans state trial work and federal appellate work.

Ibrahim built his practice over decades, representing clients in courts across the region. He joined Case, Ibrahim & Clauss, LLP, where his name appears in the firm title. Colleagues describe him as steady at the lectern and deliberate in written advocacy. He has handled matters that required navigation of both trial procedures and appellate standards.

His background in psychology informs courtroom work. That discipline helps in assessing witness credibility, preparing witnesses, and crafting persuasive narratives for judges and juries. He combines that perspective with traditional legal analysis, preparing briefs and motions intended to meet the procedural and substantive demands of trial and appellate tribunals.

Over the years Ibrahim has worked on cases that reached different levels of the court system. He is experienced in filing and responding to pleadings, arguing motions, and preparing appellate briefs and oral argument. His practice routinely involves coordinating the factual record and legal theories so they are clear to trial judges and appellate panels alike.

Within the firm, he collaborates with other lawyers on complex matters. He handles case strategy, client counseling, and courtroom presentation. He also supervises preparation of appellate papers when matters proceed beyond trial courts. His approach tends to be methodical: identify the core legal issue, assemble the record, and press the argument where law and fact align.

Now in practice at Case, Ibrahim & Clauss, LLP, he represents clients in state and federal litigation and handles appeals in the Ninth Circuit. He continues to take cases that require both trial-level advocacy and appellate work, representing clients in California courts and before the Ninth Circuit.
