About Evan
Evan Pappas built his foundation at the University of Michigan, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science in 2008. He stayed in Michigan for law school and took his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011. Those years shaped his approach to advocacy: methodical, courtroom-ready and attentive to procedure.
He began his legal career soon after law school. In 2012 he joined Andreopoulos & Hill, PLLC as an associate lawyer. That role introduced him to the day-to-day work of litigation. He moved to Fieger Law in 2014, where he continued to gain experience in contested matters and trial preparation. Each stop added new courtroom hours and sharpened his litigation skills.
In 2017 Pappas joined Giroux Pappas Trial Lawyers as a lawyer. He worked on a range of trial-related assignments and steadily took on greater responsibility. In 2022 he became a partner at the firm. The promotion reflected years of handling evidentiary issues, negotiating pretrial positions and representing clients in court settings.
His practice has been shaped by practical courtroom work. He has handled trials, pretrial motions and hearings, and has worked through case strategy from complaint to verdict. Colleagues describe him as methodical at deposition and thorough in trial exhibits. He prepares witnesses, argues evidentiary matters, and manages case timelines so hearings and trials proceed on schedule.
Pappas maintains current professional memberships and participates in the legal community in Michigan. He keeps ties to local bar activities and stays engaged with developments in state practice and procedure. That engagement informs how he approaches case law, filing deadlines and trial tactics.
Today he is a partner at Giroux Pappas Trial Lawyers. His work remains centered on litigation and courtroom advocacy, handling trial preparation, motions practice and representation at hearings for clients in Michigan.
