About Evan C

Evan C Leach took a circuitous route into law, trading spreadsheets for statutes over the course of a decade. He began with a finance degree from Providence College in 2003, then returned to the classroom for a law degree at the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2011. Those two educational experiences shape how he approaches problems today.

At Providence College he studied finance, a background that still shows when he reads a balance sheet or assesses a risk profile. At the University of Miami School of Law he learned legal research and advocacy. The combination of finance and law gave him tools that are useful in commercial and transactional contexts, as well as in disputes that turn on numbers as much as on precedent.

Leach is licensed to practice in both Florida and Massachusetts. He has navigated the bar requirements in two states and maintains an active practice that crosses those state lines. That dual-licensure allows him to advise clients whose matters involve more than one jurisdiction, whether because of commerce, residence or regulatory overlap.

Observers of his work note a practical, analytical style. He tends to break complex problems into discrete parts. He looks for the documents and the data that matter, then builds an argument from those elements. Colleagues describe him as methodical. Clients who work with him see an attorney who combines legal training with financial literacy.

After several years in practice he formed EVAN C LEACH PLLC. The firm bears his name and reflects a practice that integrates his background in finance with legal work across state lines. He handles matters that require careful review of transactional records, agreements and financial arrangements. He also manages cases where jurisdictional issues between Florida and Massachusetts are central.

Outside of court or the billing cycle, he remains engaged with the technical parts of law and finance. He follows changes in state law that affect commercial activity and keeps current on accounting practices that affect litigation. As of 2026 he practices at EVAN C LEACH PLLC, focusing on matters that involve financial analysis and cross-jurisdictional legal issues.
