About Eugene “Bo” P. Chambers
Eugene “Bo” P. Chambers Jr. earned his LL.B. from The University of Georgia School of Law in 1954 after earlier studies at the University of the South. He completed his legal education in an era of change for the profession. The degree set the stage for a lengthy career in Georgia courts and on the federal bench.
Chambers has been active in the Georgia legal community for decades. He became a member of the Georgia State Bar and the Georgia Bar Association in 1958. Two years later he joined the DeKalb County Bar Association, where his membership is recorded beginning in 1960. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
Over the years Chambers gained admission to multiple jurisdictions. His credentials include practice before Georgia State and Superior Courts and the Georgia Court of Appeals. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and has credentials allowing practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions have supported work on matters that required appearances across trial and appellate levels.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Chambers primarily in trial settings. His association memberships reflect steady involvement in trial practice circles. He has handled matters that moved through state trial courts and into appellate review. Throughout his career he has balanced courtroom work with the professional duties that come from sustained bar and association membership.
Chambers maintains an office at One Midtown Plaza. From that base he continues to engage in litigation and court appearances. He remains active in the Georgia legal community and keeps current memberships in state and national bar organizations. His current practice centers on litigation in Georgia state and federal courts.
