About Erin Whittemore
Erin Whittemore Lohmiller built her legal foundation at two Florida institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and completed her Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law in 2004. Those years established the academic base she would draw on across a career spent practicing law in Florida.
Her early professional experience began in public service. In 2007 she joined the Office of The State Lawyer as an Assistant State Lawyer. That role placed her inside the workings of the state legal system and exposed her to courtroom practice, case management and the day-to-day demands of public litigation.
After several years in the public sector she moved into private practice. She became an associate at The Whittemore Law Group in 2012. Over the next eight years she handled litigation and client representation while taking on increasing responsibility for case strategy and file management. Colleagues say she combined careful legal analysis with a practical approach to resolving matters.
In 2020 she was named managing lawyer at The Whittemore Law Group. In that position she assumed oversight of the firm’s operations and the supervision of lawyers and staff. Her work included organizing case workflows, mentoring newer attorneys and ensuring the firm met procedural and ethical obligations. The role required balancing the administrative demands of running a practice with maintaining an active caseload.
Throughout her career Lohmiller has maintained professional memberships in legal associations. She participates in bar-related activities and keeps current with changes in state law. That involvement supports her courtroom work and helps her remain familiar with evolving practice standards.
Her practice has been rooted in Florida courts and legal processes. She draws on years of experience gained in both public and private roles. Peers describe her as methodical in preparation and straightforward in court presentations.
Lohmiller continues to practice at The Whittemore Law Group in Florida, where she handles a range of matters for clients and manages the firm’s daily legal work.
