About Erik C.
Erik C. Bower took a conventional path into the law. He read criminology as an undergraduate, earning a B.A. from the University of Florida. He then went on to Nova Southeastern University, where he completed his J.D. in 2018.
After finishing law school, Bower entered practice in Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar and works as a lawyer at Lawyers Jo Ann Hoffman & Associates, P.A. The firm is his professional home and the place where he has continued to develop practical courtroom and client skills.
His education in criminology and legal training provide a practical foundation. The criminology degree gave him early exposure to the social and legal issues that appear in many cases. The J.D. from Nova Southeastern University supplied the doctrinal and procedural tools he uses daily.
Colleagues describe him as a steady presence in the office. He is a current member of The Florida Bar and maintains active standing there. At the firm he handles matters that arise under Florida law and offers counsel and representation aligned with the procedures and local rules of the state courts.
Bower’s work has been shaped by the practical demands of client representation. He spends much of his time preparing filings, advising clients on legal options, and appearing in court when the matter requires it. He balances courtroom work with client consultations and case preparation, and he coordinates with other attorneys and staff at the firm to move cases forward.
Outside his day-to-day responsibilities, he keeps ties to the community of Florida lawyers through bar membership and local professional contacts. That network supports his practice and keeps him informed about developments in state law and court practice.
He practices law in Florida at Lawyers Jo Ann Hoffman & Associates, P.A., where his work is concentrated on representing clients under Florida law.
