About Eric W
Eric W Robinson built his path to law at the University of Washington. He earned a Bachelor of Arts there in 2005 and returned to the same university for a J.D., graduating from the School of Law in 2008. His time at UW included involvement with the Jackson School of International Studies and membership in the National Order of Barristers, ties that suggest an early interest in international and advocacy issues.
He began his legal career at Mills Meyers Swartling P.S. in 2008 as an associate. Over the next several years he took on increasing responsibility at the firm and in 2014 became a shareholder. Those years saw him move from junior matters into roles that involved client counseling and firm leadership tasks. Colleagues describe a steady progression from courtroom and transactional responsibilities to broader case oversight and mentoring of newer lawyers.
Robinson maintains active ties outside the office. He holds memberships in the World Affairs Council and the World Trade Club, organizations that convene business and policy leaders on international topics. He is a member of the King County Bar Association and has participated in the Rotary Club of Seattle since 2008. His alumni engagement with the UW Jackson School of International Studies continues alongside these professional activities. These affiliations align with a practice that touches on regional and cross-border concerns.
He is admitted to practice in both Washington and Oregon, which allows him to represent clients across state lines in the Pacific Northwest. At the firm he has handled matters that require coordination across jurisdictions and frequent interaction with corporate and civic partners. The record shows sustained involvement in cases and transactions that call for careful procedural work and coordination among multiple stakeholders.
Outside the office, Robinson balances legal work with civic and professional involvement. His longtime Rotary membership indicates an interest in community-based projects, and his participation in trade and world affairs groups keeps him current on issues that affect regional commerce. He has also been involved with bar activities in King County, contributing to continuing education and collegial programs for local practitioners.
He currently practices at Mills Meyers Swartling P.S., representing clients across Washington and Oregon.
