About Eric Michael
Eric Michael Bradstreet trained as a historian before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in History from Jacksonville University in 2000 and completed his J.D. at Florida State University College of Law in 2006. Those formative years set a steady course: an interest in how rules shape outcomes and a legal education that led directly into courtroom practice.
He began his law career in 2007 at Ford, Bowlus, Duss, Kenney, Safer & Hampton, P.A., where he worked on a range of civil matters. Two years later he moved to St. Denis & Davey and became a partner in 2009. The move marked a transition from junior associate work to a leadership role inside a regional firm. Colleagues say he brought an attention to case detail and courtroom procedure that translated into expanding responsibilities quickly.
Bradstreet is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. He holds current membership in the Florida State Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Those memberships keep him connected to local court rules and bar activities in Jacksonville and across the state.
His courtroom experience spans state and federal venues. He regularly appears in district courts across Florida and handles filings and hearings that arise in both trial and pretrial stages. The work requires familiarity with federal procedure alongside Florida state practice, and he has built a caseload that involves litigation preparation, motion practice and client counseling on procedural strategy.
Bradstreet’s background in history informs his approach to case narratives. He is attentive to chronology and to arranging facts so they read clearly for judges and juries. That orientation carries through to his written work. Pleadings, briefs and discovery requests reflect a methodical structure aimed at clarifying positions rather than embellishing them.
At St. Denis & Davey he serves as a partner and continues to accept matters that arise in both state and federal courts across Florida. He maintains active participation in the local bar and in court proceedings in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. He currently practices law at St. Denis & Davey, handling litigation and related court work in Florida and the federal districts named above.
