About Wesley D

Wesley D Fina built his legal foundation in Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Florida State University in 2009 and completed his Juris Doctor at Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012. Those early academic choices set the stage for a practice grounded in courtroom experience and client counsel across state matters.

Fresh out of law school, he joined Schutt, Schmidt, and Noey, first as a law clerk in 2011 and then returning in a litigation role in 2013. The early years at that firm put him in the middle of contested cases. He handled discovery, drafted motions and appeared in hearings. The work sharpened his approach to case preparation and courtroom procedure.

In 2021 he took a different path and helped establish The Fina Law Office, P.A. He is a founding partner there. Building a small firm required shifting from the role of advocate to a role that blends casework with the practical demands of running a practice. He oversaw client intake, case strategy and the administrative side of the office while continuing to litigate when necessary.

Colleagues describe him as methodical. He breaks complex disputes into manageable pieces. That began during his undergraduate studies in marketing, where analysis and clear presentation were central. Those skills carried forward into legal writing and litigation, where clear messaging often matters as much as the underlying law.

His professional registration is in Florida, where he concentrates his practice. The record shows steady experience in courtroom and pretrial settings. He has handled a range of matters that required motion practice, negotiation and trial preparation. The pattern of his career points to a lawyer who values preparation and client communication.

Outside of casework, he maintains membership in professional associations. He participates in bar-related activities and local legal circles, which keeps him connected to developments in state practice and procedure.

Today he divides his time between managing The Fina Law Office, P.A. and direct client representation. He stays based in Florida and handles matters that draw on his litigation background and experience running a small firm. His current practice focuses on representing clients in litigation and related legal matters in Florida.
