About Eric G
Eric G Jensen graduated from William Jewell College in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in history and earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 1991. He built his legal foundation in law school and moved into practice soon after finishing his studies. Those early years set the stage for a long career in courtrooms and at the mediation table.
Jensen is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Texas, and he is also admitted to appear before the Eighth Circuit. That multi-jurisdictional standing has allowed him to handle matters that cross state lines and to appear at the federal appellate level when matters require it. Over the years he has balanced courtroom work with alternative dispute resolution.
He earned a mediator certification from Missouri State University, adding formal training to his experience handling contested matters outside of trial. The certification complements his trial-oriented activities. He has maintained an active membership in the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers since 2000, and he has been part of the Missouri Bar Association and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association since 1994. The Missouri Bar has called on him as a continuing legal education speaker, a role that has him presenting to fellow lawyers on practical and procedural topics.
Colleagues describe Jensen as steady and direct in court. He has been a regular participant in litigation forums and bar events for decades. That background feeds into both adversarial proceedings and negotiated settlements. He handles preparation for trial, the give-and-take of hearings, and the structured process of mediation. Those elements have marked much of his professional work.
Jensen is based at Sifers Jensen Palmer and maintains a main office for client work and case management. He volunteers time in professional associations and continues to present at CLE programs. He divides his practice between courtroom representation and serving as a mediator in disputes. Today he practices law and serves as a certified mediator, concentrating on trial work and dispute resolution.
