About Eric Bradley
Eric Bradley Stone studied at Duke University, earning a B.A. in 1982. He went on to law school at George Mason University, where he received his J.D. in 1990. Those academic years laid the groundwork for a steady legal career in Virginia.
After law school, Stone entered the legal profession in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has been associated with Williams Stone Carpenter Buczek, PC, a firm whose name appears on his record of offices. His time there involved day-to-day practice in a firm setting and gave him experience in the operations of a regional law office.
In later years he moved into practice under his own firm name. He serves as a lawyer at Eric Stone Law, PC. In that capacity he has handled matters for individual and institutional clients, and he has been responsible for client counseling, case management and courtroom appearances. His work has involved the routines of private practice, from client intake through resolution.
Colleagues and clients have noted that Stone brings a methodical approach to legal work. He relies on the training from his years at George Mason and the earlier liberal arts education at Duke when preparing cases and advising clients. He has navigated filings, hearings and settlement discussions in Virginia courts and administrative settings. Over time he has balanced litigation tasks with counseling and transactional work as case needs required.
Outside of the office he has maintained ties to the local legal community that support his practice. Those connections include former colleagues from Williams Stone Carpenter Buczek, PC and peers across Virginia who refer matters and consult on complex procedural questions. He has remained active in the everyday practice of law rather than pursuing a public profile or academic posts.
He currently practices at Eric Stone Law, PC, and centers his work on matters arising under Virginia law.
