About Emeka
Emeka Igwe built his legal foundation through two Pennsylvania law schools. He earned his law degree from Widener University Delaware School of Law and later completed an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University Beasley School of Law. That additional graduate training sharpened courtroom technique and reinforced a practical approach to trial practice.
After completing his studies, Igwe combined public service and private practice. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania bar and belongs to the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer Association and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer Association. Those memberships reflect an ongoing connection to the trial bar and to colleagues across the state.
Outside the courthouse he maintains a parallel career in the military. As of 2026 he serves as a Captain in the Delaware National Guard. That role has influenced his schedule and perspective. It has also added leadership responsibilities that he carries back into his law practice.
Colleagues describe Igwe as methodical in preparing cases for trial. His LL.M. in Trial Advocacy informs how he approaches evidence, witness preparation, and courtroom procedure. He favors practical preparation. He plans for the unexpected. He tests arguments under pressure and refines them so they hold up in front of a judge or jury.
Igwe’s involvement with trial lawyer associations keeps him connected to continuing education and peer review. He regularly participates in meetings and events that address trial technique, rules of evidence, and changes to civil and criminal procedure. Those forums provide a steady source of updates and critique that feed into his practice.
He practices from The Igwe Firm, based in Pennsylvania. The firm serves clients in state matters and draws on his trial training and military leadership. He balances caseload demands with duties in the Delaware National Guard, arranging representation to maintain continuity for clients when needed.
The arc of his career ties formal training to hands-on courtroom experience and community service. He remains based in Pennsylvania and active in local trial circles. He currently practices law at The Igwe Firm in Pennsylvania, where he focuses on trial-related litigation and courtroom advocacy.
