About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Wafula built her legal foundation through a mix of liberal arts and law school training. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lipscomb University in 2008, studying French, communications and political science. She later completed her Juris Doctor at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, receiving her degree in 2012.
After law school, Wafula entered the legal profession through practical placements. In 2014 she worked as a legal intern at JJ Moore & Associates, where she worked on everyday law office tasks and supported attorneys on client matters. That period provided direct exposure to case preparation and courtroom procedure, and it helped shape her transition from student to practitioner.
In 2015 she launched her own practice, forming the Law Office of E.M. Wafula, PLLC. As lawyer and owner she has overseen the development of the firm’s operations and handled the full cycle of client representation. Running a small firm has required balancing casework, client intake, administrative duties and local court filings.
Wafula is admitted to practice in Tennessee. Her combination of undergraduate study in communications and political science, along with legal training, informs how she explains legal matters to clients and organizes case strategy. Colleagues and clients have noted her methodical approach to preparing documents and presenting options during consultations.
Her early professional years were marked by steady involvement in local legal processes. The internship at JJ Moore & Associates gave her a practical sense of how matters move through Tennessee courts. Launching a private practice soon after marked a shift into client-facing work and independent case management.
Outside formal practice, Wafula’s educational background in French and communications suggests a broader interest in language and public discourse, elements that can play a role in negotiation and drafting. She continues to maintain an active practice in Tennessee, handling a range of matters for clients through the Law Office of E.M. Wafula, PLLC.
