About Eliza Daley

Eliza Daley Read has built a practice that spans tribal, state and federal courts. She is admitted to the Courts of the Hopi Tribe, the State of Arizona and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Her credentials include certification in trusts and estates from the Arizona Bar Association and recognition as a Certified Elder Law Lawyer by the National Elder Law Foundation, a credential acknowledged by both the Arizona Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Read moved into estate and elder law after early work that exposed her to probate and guardianship matters. Over the years she has handled contested and uncontested probate proceedings, trust administrations, and guardianship petitions. In tribal matters she has worked on estate issues that intersect with Hopi law and custom, appearing in the Courts of the Hopi Tribe when cases require tribal adjudication.

Her certifications reflect a steady professional path. The Arizona Bar Association certified her as a specialist in trusts and estates, signaling peers’ recognition of specialized knowledge in that field. The National Elder Law Foundation awarded her the Certified Elder Law Lawyer designation, a certification intended to identify practitioners who meet defined standards in elder law. Read’s standing in those programs underpins much of the work she accepts today.

Colleagues describe Read as methodical in case preparation and direct in client counseling. She handles matters ranging from drafting wills and complex trust instruments to advising on Medicaid planning and long-term care alternatives. She also represents clients in probate litigation when disputes arise over estate administration or fiduciary conduct. Her files often include cross-jurisdictional issues that require navigating state, federal and tribal procedures.

At Frazer Ryan Goldberg & Arnold LLP she is part of a team that addresses elder law, estate planning and probate litigation. Clients come to her for estate documents, incapacity planning and contested probate work. Her practice combines courtroom experience in state and federal courts with appearances before the Courts of the Hopi Tribe. She currently practices at Frazer Ryan Goldberg & Arnold LLP, where she handles elder law, trusts and estates, probate and related litigation.
