About Christopher

Christopher Christiansen built his academic foundation across three institutions. He earned a B.S. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University in 2009. He followed that with an M.P.A. from Golden Gate University in 2011. He completed his legal studies at Arizona Summit Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2013. Those years shape a profile that blends public administration, policy understanding and courtroom training.

After law school, Christiansen moved into practice across state and federal lines. He is admitted to the bars of Utah and Arizona, and he holds admissions in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States District Court for the Central District of Utah. Those credentials allow him to take cases that cross state boundaries and to appear in federal court when matters require it.

His background in public administration informs how he approaches legal problems. The M.P.A. training contributes an eye for regulatory detail and institutional process. The undergraduate study in political science and criminal justice provides context for statutory and policy questions. He draws on those strands when examining a client’s situation, whether the issue is procedural, regulatory or factual.

Christiansen founded Christiansen Law, PLLC to provide a stable platform for his practice. The firm serves clients in both Utah and Arizona. Over time it has handled matters that require appearances in state courts and the federal districts where he is admitted. He manages filings, client meetings and court calendar work out of that office.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the courtroom and methodical in preparation. He tends to keep his legal writing clear and his oral presentations focused. That approach is practical; it aims to make complex information accessible to judges, juries and clients alike. He also balances court work with the administrative side of running a small firm.

Outside of casework, Christiansen’s combined training in law and public administration has given him recurring opportunities to address procedural challenges and to advise on compliance questions. He has maintained active admissions in multiple jurisdictions to retain flexibility for clients whose matters span state or federal systems. He currently practices at Christiansen Law, PLLC, handling matters in Arizona and Utah and in the federal courts where he is admitted.
