About Edward M.

Edward M. Wynn graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts and earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2007. While at Mercer he completed an advanced certificate in legal writing, research and drafting, a program that refined his courtroom documents and appellate briefs.

He began his legal career at the Malone Law Office in 2007, taking on broad litigation responsibilities as a junior lawyer. Two years later he joined Eric J. Hertz, P.C. – Trial Lawyers, where he gained additional trialroom exposure and courtroom experience. By 2012 he was practicing at Slappey & Sadd LLC as a trial lawyer, a role that identifies him on case dockets and in court filings.

Wynn was admitted to the Georgia bar in 2007 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He maintains active membership in the State Bar of Georgia and joined the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association the year he was admitted. He has been a member of the American Association for Justice since 2012 and joined the Sandy Springs Bar Association in 2023. His civic involvement has included a term on the board of directors for the Crime Victims Advocacy Council from 2014 to 2015.

Those years in different practices shaped a trial-centered approach. He has handled litigation that progressed through all stages of preparation and into trial settings. He prepares pleadings, argues evidentiary matters and examines witnesses at trial. Courtroom work and the written materials that support it are recurring themes in his career, supported by the advanced legal writing credential he earned in law school.

Today he practices at Slappey & Sadd LLC. His work continues to involve trial litigation in Georgia and matters that may arise in the Eleventh Circuit. He maintains active standing in the Georgia bar and participates in local and national trial lawyer organizations as part of his ongoing practice.
