About Edith
Edith Pearce earned her law degree from Temple University in 1993 after completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Villanova University in 1990. The combination of accounting and legal training shaped her early interest in matters that cross financial and legal lines. She entered the bar scene soon after law school and added state memberships shortly thereafter.
Pearce’s professional trajectory has been steady. She joined the New Jersey State Bar in 1994 and became a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar in 1995. Those memberships have remained current. Over the years she has also gained the credentials to appear in federal appellate courts, including the 3rd Circuit and the D.C. Circuit.
She now serves as the managing lawyer at The Pearce Law Office P.C. The firm carries her name and reflects the role she plays in guiding its legal work and administration. In that capacity she handles courtroom obligations, supervises case strategy and manages the business side of the practice. Colleagues and clients have looked to her for steady courtroom presence and for careful case preparation.
Pearce’s background in accounting informs how she approaches complex factual records. She brings an analytic approach to document review, financial disclosure and evidentiary issues. That training also shapes how she prepares witnesses and presents evidence, particularly in matters that require attention to numeric detail.
Her practice spans state and federal forums. She represents clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts and has taken cases to the 3rd Circuit and the D.C. Circuit. That mix of trial and appellate work has kept her engaged with both procedural law and substantive legal questions. She has experience drafting briefs for appellate review and arguing contested points on appeal.
Outside of courtroom work she handles day-to-day client counseling and case management. The office structure at The Pearce Law Office P.C. reflects a hands-on approach to case intake and trial readiness. She balances courtroom appearances with mentoring junior staff and overseeing litigation budgets and deadlines.
As an attorney licensed in multiple jurisdictions, Pearce maintains active bar memberships and continues to appear in both trial and appellate settings. She currently practices at The Pearce Law Office P.C., representing clients in matters before Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts and in federal appellate courts including the 3rd and D.C. Circuits.
