About Edidiong

Edidiong Aaron built her legal foundation in Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of West Georgia in 2006. Four years later she graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, receiving her J.D. in 2010. Those academic years set the stage for a career tied closely to state courts and the neighborhoods that feed them.

Shortly after law school she gained admission to the State Bar of Georgia, a credential she has maintained since 2010. She is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Those admissions allow her to handle matters that begin in state family courts and, when necessary, proceed in federal district court.

In 2012 Aaron opened Family Matters Law Group and has served as the firm’s owner and lawyer since then. The firm’s name signals the kind of work she takes on. Her caseload includes divorce, child custody, child support and other family-related proceedings. She represents clients in negotiation, mediation and contested hearings. Over time she has managed the day-to-day demands of running a small practice while also maintaining a docket of individual client matters.

Aaron holds memberships in several local and state bar organizations. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been since 2010. She belongs to the Clayton County Bar Association (2014 to present) and the Henry County Bar Association (2017 to present). She also maintains membership in the Atlanta Bar Association. Those affiliations connect her to peers in the metro area and to resources that support courtroom practice and case management.

Her work style is pragmatic. She prepares cases for court and seeks negotiated solutions when the facts and law permit. That combination shapes how she approaches client meetings, evidence gathering and settlement discussions. Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who knows local court procedures and the practical rhythms of family law dockets. She continues to operate Family Matters Law Group in Georgia and handles family law cases at both the local and federal-admitted levels. Her current practice focuses on family law matters.
