About E. Edward

E. Edward Qaqish is a Pennsylvania lawyer who built his early career inside the judiciary before opening a private practice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University in 2010 and has worked in several court settings that shaped his view of litigation and legal procedure.

After law school he spent a summer in 2009 clerking for the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. That placement exposed him to appellate briefing and the mechanics of administrative and governmental appeals. He went on to serve as Head Judicial Law Clerk in 2011 for the 39th Judicial District, a role that expanded his responsibilities to include drafting opinions, preparing legal research for chambers, and assisting on complex calendaring and case-management matters.

Those clerkships formed the backbone of his understanding of trial and appellate practice. Colleagues from the courthouse noted his methodical approach to legal research and his attention to procedural detail. He also became involved in organized bar activities, most notably in the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section, where he served as vice chair for the 2016–2017 term. That role placed him in regular contact with practitioners across the state and involved work on continuing legal education and section governance.

Qaqish later established The Law Office of E. Edward Qaqish. He moved from support roles in the court system to representing clients and managing the operations of a small law office. His background in judicial chambers informs how he prepares filings and prepares witnesses for court. He has experience handling litigation, drafting motions, and conducting hearings in Pennsylvania courts.

He remains active in bar circles and in the professional tasks that flow from a courtroom-centered career. He is known among peers for a careful, litigation-minded practice style and for translating courtroom practice into client representation. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and maintains his office practice there. His current practice focuses on criminal defense and related litigation in Pennsylvania.
