About Douglas
Douglas Ponder earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003 after completing a bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University in 1999. He entered law school following a traditional undergraduate path and completed his legal studies in the early 2000s. Those formative years set the groundwork for a practice centered on courtroom work and procedural advocacy.
He is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Ponder practices as a lawyer at Ponder | Zimmermann LLC. His work at the firm places him routinely in state and federal court, where he appears on behalf of clients and manages complex filings and hearings. He joined the firm and built a practice that interacts with both local and federal rules.
Ponder maintains active memberships in several professional organizations. He belongs to the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Charles County Bar Association. He also holds membership in the Missouri State Bar.
