About Dona
Dona Abdo arrived in Los Angeles for law school after earning her undergraduate degree at UCLA. She finished law school in 2018 and moved quickly into practice in the city where she trained. Her path has been steady and focused on courtroom and counseling work within California.
Abdo attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she completed her undergraduate studies in 2014. She then enrolled at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and earned her J.D. in 2018. The combination of a public university undergraduate education and a downtown Los Angeles law school gave her exposure to both large academic settings and urban legal practice.
After law school she became a member of the State Bar of California in 2018 and secured admission to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She joined Structure Law Group, LLP, where she has been practicing since. Her work at the firm has included representation of clients in matters before California courts and in federal proceedings in the Central District. She handles filings, court appearances and client counseling across those venues.
Abdo holds active membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, a role she has maintained since 2018. She is also a current member of the State Bar of California. Those affiliations keep her connected to the region’s legal community and local developments in court practice and procedure. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing cases and deliberate in courtroom presentation.
At Structure Law Group, Abdo’s practice involves trial preparation, motion practice and advising clients on procedural and substantive issues that arise in both state and federal arenas. She splits her time between courtroom work and client consultations. In the years since her admission to the bar she has concentrated on the legal issues that commonly appear in Los Angeles litigation and filings in the Central District of California.
She remains based at Structure Law Group, LLP, where her current practice centers on litigation and federal court matters in California.
