About Dino
Dino Privitera studied journalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before turning to the law. He earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. His undergraduate background in journalism shapes how he approaches facts and tells a client’s story in and out of court.
After law school he became licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He built experience in local legal communities and eventually opened his own practice. In 2019 he founded The Privitera Law Office LLC and has run it since, steering day-to-day operations and client work.
Privitera belongs to professional groups that connect him to colleagues across the region. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him in contact with trial lawyers and other practitioners, and they provide opportunities to follow changes in court procedures and case law.
Colleagues describe Privitera as a lawyer who pays attention to detail and to how a case reads on paper and in the courtroom alike. His background in reporting informs his approach: he listens for facts and looks for gaps in an opponent’s narrative. That skill set plays a role in case preparation, drafting, and in oral arguments.
Running a small firm means Privitera handles many of the practical tasks that shape client experience. He oversees case intake, supervises litigation strategy, and manages client communication. The firm’s size allows him to keep matters close and to remain involved in the work at every stage.
Clients work with him in matters that arise under the laws of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He appears before state courts in those jurisdictions and maintains contacts within local legal networks. He also devotes time to staying current on procedural developments and relevant local rules.
Privitera’s path from journalism to law has given him a practical view of evidence and narrative. He blends investigation, attention to recordkeeping, and courtroom preparation in his practice. He continues to maintain memberships in regional bar and trial lawyer organizations and operates The Privitera Law Office LLC in service of clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He currently focuses his practice on representing clients in matters arising in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
