About Deveney
Deveney Andrade earned her law degree at American University Washington College of Law. She arrived there intent on practicing law, and she completed the curriculum that prepares graduates for litigation, client counseling and transactional work. The school’s clinical offerings and academic rigor were part of the environment in which she trained, but her path became clearer as she moved into practice.
Her first notable role came in 2022 when she joined Raheen Family Law, P.C. as an associate lawyer. The move put her squarely in a practice devoted to family matters. As an associate at Raheen Family Law, she contributed to case preparation and client representation in matters handled by the firm. Colleagues at the firm saw her take on responsibility for managing files and supporting more senior attorneys on contested and negotiated matters.
Much of Andrade’s work involves the kinds of disputes and agreements that typically appear in a family law practice. She routinely works on issues that affect households and parenting plans.
