About Derek Jon
Derek Jon Krebs completed his undergraduate studies at Denison University, earning a B.A. in Mass Media and Communications in 2005. He returned to school for law and received his J.D. from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2012. Those two degrees bookend a period of study that combines communication theory and legal training.
After law school, Krebs established his legal practice in Georgia. He is licensed to practice in that jurisdiction and maintains memberships in several professional organizations. His legal career has been shaped by the legal culture of the state and by continued participation in local and national bar groups.
Krebs’s background in mass media and communications gives him a perspective on messaging and client contact that few attorneys bring directly from their undergraduate studies.
