About Dennis
Dennis Delman earned his J.D. from DePaul College of Law in 1974. He completed his legal education at a time of significant change in American law schools, when debates about access to legal services and the structure of legal education were shaping curricula and classroom experience. His law degree provided the foundation for a long career based in Illinois.
After law school, Delman established himself in the Illinois legal community. Public records list Illinois among the jurisdictions in which he practices. Over the years he has worked in settings common to mid-career attorneys—appearing in state courts, advising clients on local regulatory matters and handling transactional tasks that arise under Illinois law. Those activities have kept him closely tied to the courts and legal institutions of the state.
Colleagues and court filings reflect a practitioner accustomed to the everyday demands of state practice. He has handled matters that require familiarity with Illinois statutes, court procedures and administrative processes. He has represented clients in filings and courtroom sessions where procedural precision matters. The steady work of state-level practice has shaped an approach that values preparation and attention to detail.
Delman’s career spans a period of change in Illinois law. The state’s legal landscape has evolved through new statutes, shifting judicial interpretations and administrative updates. Throughout, his work has involved translating those changes into practical advice for clients. He has advised on compliance issues, negotiated agreements and prepared court documents. Those tasks reflect the ordinary, necessary functions of practice for attorneys working within a single state system.
As of 2026 he maintains an active practice in Illinois and continues to serve clients on matters arising under state law. He remains engaged in the procedural and substantive questions that come before Illinois courts and administrative bodies, carrying forward the practice he built after graduating from DePaul College of Law in 1974.
