About Della
Della Shaker built her academic foundation on the West Coast. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a B.A. in Arts and Sociology in 2008. She then earned a J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2012.
Soon after law school, Shaker entered private practice. In 2013 she joined the Mesriani Law Group as an attorney. The following year she moved to LA Injury Advocates, where her title was listed simply as lawyer. At both firms she handled client matters that required courtroom readiness, claim negotiation and case management. She gained hands-on experience working with plaintiffs and coordinating with medical providers and insurers.
Colleagues describe her approach as steady and practical. She has taken cases through early investigation, settlement discussions and, when necessary, trial preparation. Her work involved drafting pleadings and motions, gathering medical and accident records, and preparing clients to give testimony. The daily routine mixed client interviews and document review with court appearances and strategy sessions. She spent time in depositions and learned how to distill complex records into clear narratives for juries and judges.
Her time in Los Angeles courts exposed her to a range of civil matters. The environment demanded attention to deadlines, willingness to push for evidence, and the ability to explain legal options in plain language. Clients who had suffered injuries often faced months of recovery. Shaker’s role included coordinating medical documentation and pursuing claims against insurers and other parties. She handled each step of the case lifecycle, from intake through resolution.
Outside of courtroom duties she focused on building client relationships and managing the logistics of litigation. That work meant budgeting expenses, supervising investigations and consulting with experts when necessary. She continues to practice law in California, handling personal injury and civil litigation matters.
