About Daryl T
Daryl T Dixon earned a B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 1992 and completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University in 1998. He entered the legal profession at a time when the practice of law was shifting toward more specialized litigation and organized advocacy groups were expanding their reach. His academic path included work that prepared him for courtroom practice and client representation.
After law school he became licensed to practice in both Florida and Kentucky. He established his own practice in 2000 and has served as owner and lawyer of Daryl T. Dixon Law since then. Running a solo firm has required him to manage both casework and the business of law. Those responsibilities shaped how he approaches client intake, case strategy and courtroom preparation.
Professional involvement has been a consistent part of his career. He joined the Kentucky Justice Association in 2003 and has been active there ever since. In 2004 he took a seat on the Board of Governors of the American Association of Justice, where he remains a member. Those roles have kept him engaged with peers across state lines and exposed him to evolving trial procedures and advocacy techniques.
Colleagues describe his practice as steady and practical. He handles matters that require courtroom presence as well as counsel outside the courtroom. Over the years he has balanced litigation, negotiations and the routine tasks that keep a law office functioning. He has also dedicated time to continuing legal education through association programs and other professional development offerings.
Clients who come to his office typically find an attorney who has run his own practice for decades and who understands the demands of cases in two jurisdictions. He has developed routines for case preparation, motion practice and trial-readiness. His dual admission in Florida and Kentucky allows him to work across state lines and respond to clients whose matters touch both systems.
He continues to practice through Daryl T. Dixon Law, maintaining active involvement in the Kentucky Justice Association and the American Association of Justice Board of Governors. He currently focuses his practice on representing clients in matters arising in Florida and Kentucky.
