About Darrell
Darrell White built his legal foundation in Southern California classrooms and courtrooms. He completed undergraduate studies in political science at the University of California, Los Angeles, attending from 2001 to 2005. He then studied law at Chapman University Fowler School of Law from 2006 to 2009, earning his J.D.
He began his professional career immediately after law school as an associate at Hart, King & Coldren in 2009. That early experience exposed him to trial preparation and client counseling in state and federal matters. In 2012 he moved to Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where he handled a range of civil litigation matters and refined his courtroom skills. Three years later he joined Weintraub Tobin as a business trial lawyer. The role emphasized contested commercial disputes and bench and jury trials.
In 2018 he became a partner at Kimura London & White LLP. As a partner he took on more responsibility for case strategy and client relationships. He has worked on breach of contract actions, partnership and shareholder disputes, and other commercial litigation matters. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in court, preferring clear presentation over flourish. He has practiced primarily in California courts.
White maintains membership in the State Bar of California. That membership is current. He handles both pretrial litigation work and trial advocacy. His background includes motion practice, discovery management, and witness preparation. He has experience steering complex cases through dispositive motions and settlement negotiations, and he has tried cases before juries and judges.
Outside the courtroom he has participated in firm management and mentorship of junior lawyers. In partner roles he has overseen delegations of responsibility and worked on staffing teams for high-stakes matters. His career path shows a steady progression from associate to partner, guided by hands-on trial experience and firm leadership duties.
He is based at Kimura London & White LLP, where his practice centers on business litigation and contested commercial matters.
