About Darin
Darin Dooley is a partner at Draneas Huglin Cooper LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon, specializing in estate planning and elder law. He joined the firm in 2019 to better serve his clients. Darin earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 2007.
Prior to law school, he spent ten years in Japan teaching English as a second language, which provided him with a understanding of diverse cultures. In 2019, Darin served as the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Oregon State Bar. He has been a member of the Elder Law Section Executive Committee since 2015 and has been involved with the Estate Planning and Administration Section since 2007.
Additionally, he is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Darin's practice areas include estate planning, elder law, Medicaid, special needs planning, probate, trust administration, and estate tax planning. He is committed to helping families plan for their futures and major life events, ensuring that clients understand their options and feel confident that their wishes will be honored.
Before joining Draneas Huglin Cooper LLC, Darin operated his own practice, Dooley Law LLC, focusing on elder law and estate planning. He has also been active in community education, speaking regularly to groups, presenting at conferences, and writing articles for the Elder Law section newsletter. Darin is licensed to practice law in Oregon and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2007.
