About Daniel

Daniel Yaniv graduated from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University with a J.D. in 2006. He completed his legal studies during a period of change in the profession, and entered practice as the post-2000s legal market began to take shape. His formal education provided grounding in litigation and transactional principles, and he carried that training into a bi-state practice.

Soon after law school he began working across New Jersey and New York. He is licensed to practice in both states and has handled matters that require familiarity with each jurisdiction’s procedures and statutes. Early years in practice involved steady court work and client counseling, building a practice that spans urban and suburban legal needs.

Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic. He tends to favor clear, straightforward advice over abstract theorizing. That orientation shows in how he prepares cases and advises clients — attention to procedural detail, careful documentation, and a preference for resolving issues efficiently when circumstances allow.

Since 2008 he has maintained professional association memberships, taking part in the networks that keep practitioners current on evolving law and local practice. Those connections have informed his understanding of both states’ legal climates and fostered relationships with other lawyers, mediators, and professionals who commonly intersect with civil matters.

Yaniv moved into private practice work at Yaniv & Associates, PC, where he handles a range of matters for individuals and organizations with interests in New Jersey and New York. His caseload has required adaptability: shifting between contested matters in state courts and negotiated resolutions outside the courtroom. He prepares pleadings, advises clients on compliance and risk, and works to align legal strategy with the practical goals of those he represents.

Outside the office he has been involved in continuing legal education and local professional programming. Those activities reflect a steady practice rhythm rather than public-facing scholarship. His professional life is centered on direct client work and the day-to-day demands of practicing in two neighboring states.

He currently practices at Yaniv & Associates, PC, representing clients in matters governed by New York and New Jersey law.
