About Emily
Emily Ingall built an early foundation in communication before turning to the law. She earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2013. She moved to New York for law school and received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2020. Those years shaped how she approaches legal work: clear writing, listening to clients, and attention to detail.
She became a member of the bars of New Jersey, New York and Maryland in 2021 and has maintained those memberships since. Entry to three state bars so soon after law school put her in a position to handle matters that cross state lines. Colleagues say she approaches each matter methodically and keeps the practical needs of clients in view.
Her legal training and undergraduate studies intersect in the work she does. She is comfortable drafting pleadings and transactional documents, preparing discovery, and communicating complex information to nonlawyers. That combination informs how she prepares for hearings and client meetings. She also places emphasis on organization; files, timelines and regulation citations are arranged so that issues are clear to clients and opposing counsel.
In practice she has handled matters that require navigation of differing state rules and procedures. That experience has sharpened her ability to manage calendar entries and jurisdictional deadlines across New Jersey, New York and Maryland. She has worked both on matters resolved short of trial and on matters that required more intensive motion practice.
Peers note that she favors plainspoken explanations over legalese when advising clients. She spends time explaining options and potential outcomes, then outlines next steps in pragmatic terms. That approach helps clients make informed choices, particularly when cases involve multiple state statutes or overlapping regulatory frameworks.
Outside the office she retains ties to her alma maters and follows developments in state court procedure and appellate decisions that affect the tri-state region. She maintains active membership in the state bars of New York, New Jersey and Maryland and attends continuing legal education courses relevant to her practice.
She is an active, licensed attorney in New Jersey, New York and Maryland, and her current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters across those jurisdictions.
