About Daniel V.

Daniel V. Renart trained as a bilingual undergraduate, earning a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish Literature from George Washington University's Mount Vernon campus in 1997. He went on to law school at The Catholic University of America, receiving his J.D. in 2004. Those academic years combined language, behavioral study and law, and they shaped the way he approaches legal problems: analytically and with attention to detail.

Renart began his private-practice career in the mid-2000s. In 2007 he joined Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher as an associate. There he worked on matters assigned by the firm and gained experience in litigation and client counseling. In 2012 he moved to Reinstein, Glackin, Patterson & Herriott LLC as an associate, continuing his work in private practice.

Across those roles he handled tasks typical for associates in small and mid-size firms: research, drafting pleadings and motions, client conferences and courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing case files and focused on the procedural aspects that shape litigation timelines. He has balanced courtroom responsibilities with behind-the-scenes legal work; the combination is a steady part of his professional profile.

He is admitted to practice in Maryland and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. That licensing enables him to appear in state proceedings and before the federal appellate court that covers Maryland and neighboring states. His career has involved both trial preparation and appellate filings, reflecting the dual nature of practice for many attorneys who handle appeals and lower-court matters.

Outside the office his academic background in psychology and Spanish literature informs how he communicates with clients and parses witness testimony. Those early studies contribute to an approach that values clear explanation and careful listening.

As of 2026 he continues to practice at Reinstein, Glackin, Patterson & Herriott LLC. His current practice focuses on matters arising in Maryland and before the Fourth Circuit.
