Notably, in 2006, he successfully represented actress and singer Chanti Nieves in a privacy case against HBO's reality show "Family Bonds." The court ruled in favor of Nieves, stating that the show would have had to demonstrate a "real relationship" between the subject matter and the bystander's image to avoid liability in an invasion of privacy case. Arshack has also been a speaker at various legal seminars.
In April 2025, he participated in the New York State Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section Court of Appeals Update, discussing recent criminal justice issues and the reasoning behind the Court of Appeals' decisions. In addition to his legal practice, Arshack has been involved in pro bono work, including serving as Mass Defense Counsel to Greenpeace and the Rainforest Action Network. He has also been a consulting attorney for National Advocates for Pregnant Women. Arshack's experience and active involvement in the legal community underscore his commitment to criminal defense and related legal areas.
