About Frank
Frank Poe built a foundation in liberal arts before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in philosophy and psychology from Rutgers University in 2002 and completed his J.D. at New York Law School in 2008. Those years shaped his analytical approach and informed his transition into legal practice.
He joined the State Bar of New York in 2013 and is authorized to practice in New York. His career has moved between law firms and in-house roles, giving him both courtroom-side training and business-facing experience.
Poe began his post-law school legal work in New York-area practices. In 2014 he worked at Almonte Law Office PC. He moved to Held and Hines PLLC in 2016 and then took an associate role at Wong Fleming PC in 2018. Each position expanded his exposure to transactional work and client counseling in commercial matters.
In 2019 he shifted to an in-house position as General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs for Central Entertainment Group Inc. There he handled contracts, licensing arrangements, and the legal dimensions of business operations. The title reflected responsibility for both legal risk and the commercial mechanics that support creative enterprises.
After several years in-house, Poe founded Poe Law PLLC in 2023. The firm represents clients across business and entertainment sectors. He draws on his years of in-firm and in-house work to advise on contracts, corporate governance, and transactional disputes.
His practice emphasizes commercial and entertainment-related legal matters. He works on contract drafting and negotiation, licensing agreements, and counseling for businesses navigating regulatory and commercial issues in New York. The mix of transactional experience and in-house perspective informs how he handles client problems.
