About Daniel E

Daniel E Sercombe earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2012. He completed his legal studies after an intensive period of classroom work and clinical experience that prepared him for courtroom practice. The law school years gave him exposure to criminal procedure and trial advocacy, areas he would later pursue professionally.

After law school Sercombe entered practice in Florida, where he is licensed to practice. Early in his career he concentrated on criminal defense and impaired driving cases. He built experience handling arraignments, pretrial motions, and plea negotiations. Over time he expanded the scope of representation to include contested hearings and jury trials. He has represented clients at nearly every stage of the criminal process, from initial charging decisions through sentencing.

Sercombe's practice is organized under the names Sercombe Law and Dan Sercombe: DUI and Criminal Defense. He operates a small practice that emphasizes direct client contact. Clients meet the attorney who will handle their case. That arrangement informs how the office prepares for court and stacks its calendar. The practice handles misdemeanor and felony matters with regularity and gives particular attention to cases arising from impaired driving arrests.

He maintains current professional memberships in bar and criminal defense organizations. Those memberships offer continuing legal education and networking opportunities. Sercombe has used those resources to stay current on changes in evidence law, forensic testing issues, and statutory revisions that affect criminal procedure in Florida. He has also relied on that professional community when confronting novel legal questions or emerging scientific topics in DUI litigation.

Colleagues describe him as practical in court and methodical in preparation. He is known to prioritize early investigation and to challenge procedural errors where they appear. That approach often shapes the strategy he pursues in each matter. Today he provides representation through Sercombe Law and the practice name Dan Sercombe: DUI and Criminal Defense, representing clients in DUI and criminal defense matters in Florida.
