About Daniel B.
Daniel B. Zarnowski is an attorney practicing family law in Colorado. He earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2016 after completing a B.A. at Central Connecticut State University in 2007. His legal training followed several years of public service; he served as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy beginning in 2008, an experience that shaped his early approach to client advocacy and teamwork.
After law school, Zarnowski moved into courtroom and firm work. He clerked for the Southern District of Florida in 2014, gaining exposure to federal procedure and case management. His first post-law school role came at The Law Office of Alexandra White, P.C., where he worked as an associate in 2016. He then took a series of associate positions in Florida and Colorado family law practices, including Shapiro Family Law in 2018 and Miller and Law PC in 2019. In 2020 he advanced to a senior associate position at Robinson and Henry, P.C., handling a broader docket and mentoring junior attorneys.
In 2022 Zarnowski opened his own practice, Altitude Family Law, PC. He serves as owner and lawyer there, overseeing case strategy and client intake. His time in private practice has covered the practical demands of family law: courtroom appearances, negotiation, and the preparation of pleadings and agreements. Colleagues describe him as methodical; clients see an attorney who prepares thoroughly and follows through on procedural tasks.
Zarnowski’s professional affiliations reflect steady involvement in the local legal community. He has been a member of the Denver Bar Association since 2016 and served on the Young Lawyers Division Executive Council from 2017 through 2020. He belongs to the Metropolitan Denver Interdisciplinary Committee and holds a leadership role with Veterans for American Ideals in Colorado. He was a volunteer Guardian ad Litem in Broward County from 2015 to 2016, representing the interests of children in dependency matters. He also maintained membership in the American Bar Association from 2016 to 2018.
His practice now centers on family law matters across Colorado, handling divorce, custody, parenting-time issues and related financial disputes. He manages his caseload from Altitude Family Law, PC, and continues to participate in local bar activities. The current practice focuses on guiding clients through the procedural and emotional aspects of family law cases in Colorado.
