About Cristi
Cristi Trusler graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with a J.D. in 1996 after completing undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University and the University of Oklahoma. Her academic path combined study of English literature and political science with pre-law coursework and a general studies bachelor’s degree. The sequence of degrees reflects a broad liberal arts background followed by formal legal training.
After law school, Trusler moved into legal practice and steadily built experience across routine and complex matters. Early years in the profession were spent mastering the fundamentals of client representation, legal research and courtroom procedure. Over time she handled a range of matters that required written advocacy and negotiated resolution.
Her work has drawn on both her liberal arts foundation and law training. That combination shaped an approach that values clear writing and structured analysis.
