About Crista Marie
Crista Marie Haynes earned a law degree from the University of La Verne College of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2011 after completing her undergraduate studies in criminal justice at California State University, Long Beach, where she earned a B.S. in 2007. Her academic path combined classroom study and practical training that prepared her for courtroom work and law practice management.
Haynes began her post-law school career as a partner at Bristol, Haynes & Associates in 2011. The firm evolved over time. In 2016 she became a partner at Bristol & Haynes, APLC. Two years later she took on the title of managing partner at The Haynes Law Office, APLC, a role she assumed in 2018 and continues to hold.
Her practice has an appellate dimension; she is admitted to practice in California and is admitted to the Federal Circuit. Those admissions shape the kinds of matters the firm handles and the filings it undertakes. Within the firm she has combined casework with administrative responsibilities, steering case strategy while overseeing day-to-day operations.
Haynes has been active in local bar associations since 2012. She holds memberships in the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association, the San Bernardino County Bar Association, and the Riverside County Bar Association. Participation in these groups has kept her connected to developments in local practice rules and county court procedures. It has also provided a forum for interaction with other lawyers across a range of practice areas.
Colleagues describe her as steady in court and deliberate in motion practice. She has managed matters that require coordination across state and federal procedures, and she has supervised preparation for appellate filings at the Federal Circuit level. Her role as managing partner has also included mentoring younger attorneys and handling client intake and retention matters.
Haynes combines litigation responsibilities with firm leadership. She balances courtroom deadlines and briefs with staffing decisions and client communications. She continues to maintain an active practice in California courts and before the Federal Circuit. Her practice concentrates on litigation and appellate work in California and before the Federal Circuit.
