Craig Volney Butler is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Butler is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Craig V. Butler, located at 300 Spectrum Center Drive, Suite 300, Irvine, California 92618-4987. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.

Mr. Butler earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at USD Law, he was involved in various student organizations and gained practical experience through internships.

Mr. Butler concentrates his practice in the areas of business law and contracts. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving business formation, mergers and acquisitions, partnership disputes, and general corporate governance. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including negotiations, contract drafting, litigation, and appellate work in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Butler has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Irvine for five years.

Mr. Butler is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Business Law. He is also a certified mediator through the California Dispute Resolution Council. Mr. Butler is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
