About Collin

Collin Roberts earned a J.D. and an MBA from Seattle University School of Law in 2012 after beginning his studies in 2009. He completed the dual-degree program at a time when interdisciplinary legal training was becoming more common. The combination of law and business studies gave him a grounding in both legal analysis and commercial reasoning.

His time at Seattle University exposed him to coursework across core areas of law while he continued formal study in business administration. That mix shaped an approach that treats legal problems as part of larger organizational and financial contexts. He preferred practical answers that could be explained to clients who think in terms of budgets, timelines and risk tolerances.

Roberts moved into private practice after graduation and, in 2013, took on an Of Counsel role at inVigor Law Group. In that position he supported firm attorneys and advised clients on matters suited to his background. His role as Of Counsel involved counseling clients, preparing documents and helping steer matters to resolution alongside other firm lawyers.

He has practiced in Washington throughout his career. Working in that jurisdiction meant engaging with state statutes, local court procedures and regional business practices. Roberts handled interactions with opposing counsel, negotiated agreements and assisted in case preparation. He developed a steady, methodical approach to file management and client communication, favoring clear explanations and well-documented work.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the way he balances legal options against client priorities. He tends to break complex problems into manageable pieces and to present tradeoffs plainly. That style makes it easier for clients to decide how to proceed when choices carry operational or financial consequences.

Outside of casework, his dual-JD/MBA background has informed how he reviews transactions and counsel requests. He is comfortable moving between legal detail and business implications. He currently practices in Washington state, maintaining a practice that draws on both his legal and business training.
