About Christopher
Christopher Markos built his early legal experience in courtrooms and clerks' chambers. He served as a legal clerk to the Honorable Jose L. Fuentes of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. That position gave him an inside view of appellate procedure and judicial decisionmaking.
After that clerkship he moved into private practice. In 2012 he joined Williams Cuker Berezofsky as an associate. He worked there on litigation matters and supported trial teams, handling legal research, drafting motions, and preparing briefs. In 2017 he became an associate at Williams Cedar, LLC, where he continued to take on associate-level responsibilities and assist on civil cases.
Markos is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has maintained a practice that spans those two jurisdictions. The appellate experience early in his career informs his approach to written advocacy. Having worked inside an appellate chamber and then in firm settings, he understands both how judges review arguments and how trial-level work feeds into appeals.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and thorough in his preparation. He has handled discovery management, brief writing, and oral argument preparation. He also participates in professional organizations and holds current memberships that keep him engaged with developments in state and local law. He has worked on matters that required coordination across state lines, reflecting his dual licensure.
His office presence is split between Philadelphia and New Jersey. He maintains a practice in both locations and appears in courts across the region. Clients see him for matters that require attention to procedural detail and careful drafting. He draws on his clerkship when advising on preservation of issues for appeal and when shaping appellate briefs.
Outside the courtroom he has continued to build the practical skills acquired in his early roles. He remains active in his local bar communities and in firm work that spans civil litigation matters. He keeps a case-centered approach, focusing on clear written work and court-ready preparation.
Markos currently maintains offices in Philadelphia and New Jersey and practices in both jurisdictions.
