About Christopher M.

Christopher M. Diedling built a path to the law that moved quickly from the classroom to courtrooms and corporate offices. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University in 2009 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2017. Those years of study preceded a string of positions that exposed him to both public and private practice.

His earliest legal roles came while he was still a student and in the year after graduation. In 2016 he worked as a law clerk at the United States Lawyer s Office. In 2017 he served as a staff lawyer to Hon. Judge Melissa Powers at the Hamilton County Juvenile Court. That post gave him direct experience inside the juvenile court system and a close view of the mechanics of courtroom procedure.

In 2018 Diedling moved into in-house roles. He was general counsel and vice president at Ultimate Toys Inc., then held a similar title at Green Investment Holdings, LLC. Those positions placed him on the business side of legal work. He handled corporate governance and internal legal issues while learning how legal decisions affect operations day to day.

He returned to private practice in 2019 as an associate at Shur Law Co., LPA. A year later he joined Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton as a lawyer. That move consolidated earlier courtroom experience and corporate counsel work under the umbrella of a law firm environment. It also anchored his practice in Ohio, the state where he is licensed to practice.

Throughout his career Diedling has alternated between public-service roles and private-sector responsibilities. He has handled matters inside a county juvenile court, worked in a federal legal office, provided in-house counsel services for businesses and taken on firm-based legal work. The variety of those posts means he brings both courtroom familiarity and corporate counsel experience to client matters.

Outside of those roles he holds at least one membership in a professional association. The record lists current association membership, though specific organizations are not detailed in public listings. Colleagues describe him as practical and detail-oriented in legal work, and he has continued to practice in Ohio since joining Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton.

As of 2026 he is part of the Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton team and maintains a practice that focuses on legal matters arising in Ohio.
