About Christopher M.
Christopher M. Brown built his foundation in communications before turning to the law. He earned a B.A. in Communications Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Three years later he received his J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2011. The combination of a communications background and legal training shapes his approach to case preparation and written work.
After law school he entered private practice. In 2017 he served as an attorney at Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, P.C. That role placed him in a firm environment handling matters that required courtroom preparation and client advising. He has worked across several levels of Pennsylvania’s courts and in the federal system in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Brown holds admission to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also appears in Pennsylvania appellate courts. Those credentials reflect regular courtroom and appellate work rather than a single narrow practice area. Colleagues and court records show him engaged in litigation tasks, legal writing and procedural work in both trial and appellate settings.
Beyond court work, Brown participates in local legal institutions. He is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association and serves as an arbitrator for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. He also contributes to the Delaware County Legal Journal as an assistant editor, handling editorial duties and contributing to the publication’s legal content. That mix of bench-related service and editorial work keeps him connected to county-level practice and the broader legal conversation in the area.
Brown maintains offices in Media and in West Chester. Those locations place him near the county courthouses and local legal community where much of his practice activity occurs. He balances courtroom appearances, arbitration assignments and legal editing in his day-to-day work.
He currently handles matters in Pennsylvania courts, appears before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and files in Pennsylvania appellate courts as part of his regular practice.
