About Christopher J.

Christopher J. Donadio earned a B.A. from Boston College in 2004 and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 2007. He entered the profession at a moment when courtroom experience mattered. He began his career at Wolff & Samson PC in 2007, taking on early litigation responsibilities and learning the mechanics of civil practice. Two years later he moved to Burns & Harris as a trial lawyer, where he appeared in contested hearings and sharpened his trial techniques.

Donadio’s career progressed to a partnership at Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf. There he joined a firm known for heavy trial caseloads and a steady flow of civil litigation. His practice reflects years in state and federal courts. He is admitted in New Jersey and New York, and he is authorized to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

He has been an active participant in professional organizations that center on trial practice. Current memberships include the New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Those affiliations indicate a sustained engagement with trial procedure, courtroom advocacy and continuing legal education.

Colleagues describe him as an experienced courtroom lawyer who handles complex litigation matters from initial filings through trial. He spends substantial time preparing witnesses, drafting pleadings and arguing motions. He also handles appellate work in the Second Circuit when cases require it. Courtroom presence and case management form the backbone of his daily practice.

Clients and other lawyers encounter Donadio in both state and federal dockets. He practices where litigation is litigated—on calendar calls, at depositions and before judges and juries. The path from Duke Law to partnership at a long-established firm has been a sequence of trial jobs and courtroom appearances. He currently practices at Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf and focuses his work on civil litigation and trial practice in state and federal courts.
