About Christopher
Christopher Braddock is an attorney at Cline, Braddock & Basinger. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He has combined courtroom work and court-appointed roles throughout his practice.
Braddock completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2003. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2007. Those years in Missouri higher education set the stage for a career centered on litigation and court work.
Shortly after finishing law school he began practicing in the state. He holds membership in the Missouri Bar and the Boone County Bar Association, both since 2010. Those memberships connect him to the local legal community and to peers across the state.
Braddock is a certified Guardian ad Litem through the Missouri Bar. That certification authorizes him to accept court appointments to represent the interests of children and other vulnerable parties in custody, juvenile and related proceedings. He has served in that capacity on matters that require detailed fact-finding and written reports for the court.
At Cline, Braddock & Basinger he handles matters that reach both trial and appellate stages. He appears in state court proceedings and files in federal court when cases require it, including work filed in the Eighth Circuit. His work often involves preparing factual records, presenting testimony and drafting submissions for judges.
Colleagues describe his courtroom work as straightforward and methodical. He tends to structure cases around clear documentary records and witness preparation. That practical approach supports roles that demand careful evidence handling, such as guardian ad litem appointments and contested hearings.
Outside the courtroom he participates in bar association activities that keep him connected to developments in Missouri law. He maintains ties to Boone County through his local bar membership and has continued that relationship for more than a decade. His practice blends appointed advocacy and representation of clients in state and federal litigation.
He currently practices at Cline, Braddock & Basinger, where his work includes serving as a certified guardian ad litem and representing clients in state and federal courts.
