About Christopher Arthur
Christopher Arthur Dreisbach built a legal footing grounded in history and government before turning to criminal law. He earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2000, where he studied history and government. He followed that with a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, completing his legal studies in 2005. At Temple he concentrated on criminal law and trial advocacy, training for courtroom work early in his career.
He went on to a practice that centers on criminal defense and courtroom litigation. He is a partner at Kluxen, Newcomer & Dreisbach, a firm that handles criminal matters across central Pennsylvania. Dreisbach is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and holds admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He represents individuals in state courts and appears in federal proceedings, handling matters from pretrial motions through jury trials and post-trial proceedings.
Dreisbach’s practice reflects both trial experience and appellate work. He draws on his trial advocacy background when preparing cases for jury work. He also prepares appellate briefs and argues appeals in federal court when cases move beyond the trial level. The combination of courtroom practice and appellate advocacy shapes how he evaluates cases and advises clients.
Outside the courtroom, Dreisbach participates in professional associations that connect him to peers and to developments in criminal law practice. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Lancaster County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Dartmouth Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those memberships provide a regular forum for continuing education and professional exchange.
Dreisbach practices from offices in Harrisburg and Lancaster. His work at Kluxen, Newcomer & Dreisbach places him among colleagues who manage a range of criminal matters across multiple county jurisdictions. He handles client intake, litigation strategy, trial preparation and appellate filings. He is active in courtrooms throughout the region and in the federal appellate system.
He continues to maintain an active criminal defense practice at Kluxen, Newcomer & Dreisbach, representing clients in both trial and appellate matters.
